In September, the Scholarship Selection Committee advertises the scholarship availability for the upcoming academic year.
2014-2015 College Scholarship application forms
will be available September 1, 2013. The scholarships (FHRC-5 & Connor McKeown Memorial-1) available for the 2014 - 2015 academic year will require separate "Application Forms".

TO APPLY, APPLICANTS MUST.....
...complete the proper application form
...have participated in the FHRC (any program/s) for a minimu of four (4) years in a non-paid capacity
...be a high school graduate as of September 2014
...be attending college as a full-time student as of September 2014
...include with the application, a detailed list of FHRC activities/programs participated in
...include with the application, a detailed list of community volunteer activities/programs
...include with the application, three (3) letters of recommendation related to the FHRC's college scholarship
...include with the application, an essay, "Why I should receive the Forest Hill Recreation Council Scholarship"

TO APPLY, APPLICANTS MUST.....
...complete the proper application form
...have participated in the FHRC's baseball and/or softball and/or basketball and/or soccer program/s for a minimum of two (2) years (include a list with the application)
...be a high school graduate as of September 2014
...be attending college as a full-time student as of September 2014
...include with the application, three (3) letters of recommendation related to the FHRC "Connor Daniel McKeown" Memorial Scholarship. One (1) of the three (3) MUST be from a teacher and one (1) of the three (3) MUST be from a high school or FHRC coach.
...include with the application, an essay, "What my participation in FHRC recreational sports means to me"
